We take the privacy of our users seriously and only collect information that is necessary for us to be able to provide our services and communicate with you. We do not collect any information without your knowledge, nor do we share information without your consent. We make every attempt to clarify how the information you entrust to us will be used to make your hunting simpler, safer and more enjoyable.
We take all reasonable technical security measures to ensure that your personal data is secure with us and we adhere to the recommendations of the Swedish Companies Registration Office and the Swedish Data Protection Authority concerning GDPR.
When you register as a user of WeHunt, you provide your name, email address and, if you choose, your phone number. Your phone number is only used so that your hunting are able to contact you. We use your email address to send you newsletters and important information about your account, and your hunting companions can also search your email address in the app to invite you to hunting teams or to participate in hunts.
During a hunt, we collect data about your location in order for your hunting companions to be able to locate you. This location data is also saved to the hunting calendar at https://my.wehuntapp.com/hunt and is only visible to other participants on the current hunt. We do not save location data when you use WeHunt for purposes other than hunting.
You are able to provide information about yourself at my.wehuntapp.com/settings, such as your interests and the type of hunting in which you participate, and whether you wish to receive our newsletter and push notifications. We use this information to personalise WeHunt according to your needs, as a basis for developing new services, and to avoid sending you messages that you are not interested in.
We do not process any payment card information, but instead make use of trusted providers (Stripe, Apple and Google) to manage purchases. For invoiced purchases, we require your Swedish ID number (personnummer) in order to perform a credit check.
When you contact us via customer service functions in our digital channels, your contact details and information relating to your enquiry will be processed by us.
The main providers through which data from WeHunt is processed (including personal data) are Google Cloud Platform, Mailchimp and Zendesk. These providers are subject to and comply with GDPR. We process data within the EU and, in certain cases, the USA. When we process data in the United States, our policy is to utilise providers that are certified in accordance with Privacy Shield.
The services provided by WeHunt are not marketed at children and we therefore do not deliberately collect personal data on children.
You can view and edit your personal information and other settings at any time via my.wehuntapp.com/settings. We will never share your personal information without your consent, except if we are obligated to do so by law or by virtue of government decisions. As applies to competitions, your name may be published in top lists and in our digital channels.
Personal data is only stored for as long as is necessary for us to provide the relevant services. Your account and all personal data will be deleted if your account is inactive for a period of 24 months. You can also request that your account be deleted by sending an email to email@example.com.
